GREEN ROOFS

1. Traditional flat roofs (incline up to 15°)

The Set of Green Roofs Sempergr een Flat can be used on roofs with a maximum slope of 15°. The created layers of this green roof system form the basis of a sustainable green roof. The underlying layer is a nutrient-rich substrate that ensures healthy and strong planting of trackers.

2. About a lightweight solution to a traditional flat roof

Not every roof can hold a set of green Sempergreen Flat roofs. The Sempergreen Lightweight set for light green roofs has been developed specifically for this purpose. With this unique solution, almost every roof can be converted to a green roof. In addition, the superstructure layers of this light green roof system are very easy to lay.

3. Place'N Go

The Sempergreen "Place 'n go" green roof set is light and user-friendly in the green roof solution. The lightweight reservoirs are made of foam with a drainage layer at the bottom, which ensures that rainwater is diverted away. Place 'n go's walkable stacks are 50 x 50 cm and can be placed directly next to each other on the roof.

GROUND COVER

The free planting of land covered with plants is laborious and time consuming. Much of the work also needs to be done as part of subsequent maintenance e.g. trimming, weeding and hoeing. All in all, a costly journey. Sedum pre-grown mats from Sempergreen offer a solution. They are fully grown, require very little maintenance and are versatile. In an instant you create overgrown central strips, roundabouts, embankments, as well as cemeteries and gardens. Pre-grown Sedum mats can also be used for greening areas between tram and train tracks. DIFFERENT TYPES OF SEDUM BLANKETS

Sedum mx blankets

Sedum-mix blankets are the most widely used product for Sedum green roofs. When delivered, the growing mat always boasts a minimum of 95% coverage. Sempergreen vegetation mats are produced in accordance with LL guidelines.

Sedum-herb blankets

Mats combining herbs and breakers is a vegetation blanket in which different flowering herbs are added to the breakers. The result is diverse and colorful vegetation on the roof. This vegetation variability is particularly attractive
for bees and butterflies, thus contributing to increasing biodiversity.

Bees and butterflies blankets 

Sempergreen has developed bee and butterfly mats to fight global bee and butterfly mortality. The number of bees and butterflies has decreased alarmingly in recent years, partly due to a lack of nectar and pollen. Bees and butterflies play a vital role in biodiversity and food production.

Sedum-mix type T blankets

Sedum-mix type T blankets are vegetation mats that have been specially developed for (steep) oblique areas and as such can be used on roofs with pitches up to 45 degrees. Plant blankets always boast a minimum of 95 per cent delivery coverage. Sempergreen vegetation mats are produced in accordance with FLL guidelines.

Wildflower blanket

The Wildflower mat is a vegetation blanket that contains a wide variety of wild flowers and several ornamental grasses. The result is diverse and colorful vegetation on the roof. This variability in vegetation is particularly attractive to bees and butterflies and thus contributes to increasing biodiversity.
