History of the company

Company Adam-zahradnická, a.s. has been set up in 1998 with intention to continue in commercial activities of Brno company Eden, s.r.o. This company, back in 1992, came up with a wide range of plants and planting material for orchard and garden companies. Range of products was broadened with grass blends Barenbrug at the turn of 1994 - 1995 and in 2001, newly at Adam Zahradnická, the sale of grass blends has switched to focus exclusively on the professional market. Nowadays we cooperate with hundreds of orchard and garden companies, sports facility and general building companies (football, rugby, golf), with football and golf clubs and others, which we provide not only planting material and grass seeds but also substrates, fertilisers, aid preparations for lawns and fine mechanisation.

Considering a continuously growing volume of supply, in 2006, we have decided to build up a whole new centre nearby Prague, matching the newest European standard. In 2007, we bought an estate in Bříství in where we build up a complete new centre between 2008 - 2009. Applying systematic and upright work, we have managed to make ADAM into one of the most significant suppliers of plants and products for lawns on the Czech market.

In 2023 it was decided by shareholders and company management to build a new site in Želešice u Brna. In the spring of 2024, the preparation of the project and then the actual construction of the new centre began. March 2025 is the start date for the centre's full operation.

Over the course of twenty five years, systematic and honest work has made "Adam" one of the most important suppliers of plants and products for lawns on the Czech market.
